More thoughts about Zrii

I met one of the VPs of the company.  Zrii, the Original Amalaki has some of the best leadership ever in Network Marketing.  Each one seems full of zeal, knowledge, class, integrity, and  well, leadership.

Curtis Call looked at ease in Hawaiian attire at the first meeting, and really blended well with the groups here.  They ran him a bit ragged with the events here, and I can see that Zrii is on the rise in Hawaii.

He gave me respect as I did bend his ear about some of our group’s issues.  He took our suggestions and I saw an immediate effort to adress some of them.

He really spoke to the nutritional benefits and mentioned pubmed.org and scholar.google.com, which contain a wealth of articles about the various ingredients in our tonic.

Those ingredients are amalaki, shizandra, ginger, tulsi, turmeric, jujube, and haritake.

If you are with another company and are inclined to attack your competitors take a close look at our ingredients.  And note the ‘no preservatives.’   My wife is a Dr and we had to be ’sold’ on the drink before we would seriously promote it. (Have I told you about my wife?)

She brought home a new drink product that a distributor had left her at the office.  It is a big bottle, not a cheap investment.  As she muscle tested me for individual ingredients we came across three that my body ‘liked.’  Those three made sense to both of us, (one is in Zrii), but I was quickly discouraged to see not one, but two preservatives in that bottle.

It tasted interesting, not bad.  But this is not something that I could use OR sell, because of the preservatives.  Let my friend and mentor Craig tell you about where those preservatives come from…..

I tell you this, not because I was looking for anything else, remember that bottle was free.  But there are good products out there, that’s for sure.  We suggest that one takes the Five Pillars into account in evaluating a network marketing company.  One is product, and that is important.  But ALL five pillars need to be in place for a company to have long-time success.

I will never forget when I ran into a lady that was in a ‘competitor’, Xango.  After I mentioned some things about our company she said “You guys must be that company that is new and real good that we don’t have anything bad to say about yet.”  Yes, that’s us.    http://www.rickemmerich.myzrii.com

Why I am rooting for the Packers

I am a life long Chicago Bears fan.  This needs to be explained.  By the way, the Bears’ disappointing season ended a couple of weeks ago.  Except for, I guess, 3 of them, the team is able to golf, do family type things, and get ready for next year.

Meanwhile the hated rivals from the north are still playing, and playing quite well, I must say.  Brett Favre looks like a 25 year old kid as he slaps the ref five threee times or throws a snowball at one of his team mates.

All of this because they are routinely tuning up their opposing tems on the frozen (or sloshy) tundra of Lambeau Field.  I still enjoy watching good football, something that escaped the Bears through much of the season.

Now, I am not a bandwagon jumper.  I used to root for the Pack when the Bears were out of it.  It makes us all look better if a fellow division team does well in the post season, RIGHT?

Anyway, next July when the Bears head to training camp, I will be back on board with the team.  In fact, on NFL Draft Day some time in late April, my eyes will be glued to the set to see who MY team takes from the ranks of the collegiate gladiators.  May I suggest a certain number 15 from the Hawaii Warriors?

Joy, a critical part of Health, Wealth and Happiness

In The Bucket List the new movie starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, they present an interesting situation.  No, I won’t give away the movie.

The question is, “Have you found joy in your life?”

Though not real specific, it made me ponder….I know I have and I can tell you a whole bunch of situations.  Perhaps most of us can.  My goal is to do what I love and love what I do, and as a network marketer  working from home, I know I am well on my way to acheiving that.

So, your’e asking “Is that it?”  the shortest blog known to Rick?

Nope, the second question.  It’s always the second question that gets you.  “Has your life brought joy to others?”

Now, that’s the hard one, and it was not easy to answer in the flick.

So as we go about our days, we have a real question to ponder.  Or, perhaps one to add to the other ponderable situations.

By the way, see the movie.

Undefeated Hawaii Warriors, Pt 3, the Aftermath

Yes, I saw it, I watched the whole game.  It was brutal.  They were out gunned from the start.  Georgia was bigger, better, faster, the plan was better.  Mark Richt was smug as he stood there, knowing that he was earning the respect that the Bulldogs had lost somewhere along the way.

I think they poured a little too much sugar on the Wariors, and perhaps could have gotten by with one less touchdown, but that’s the way it goes.

A couple of bright spots were revealed: Tyler looked pretty good after the Dogs had for the most part, been called off.  The Seniors could walk off with their heads up high after a tough effort, and a marvelous 12 and 0 run.

Colt, though was shown on the sidelines crying as he had suffered a concussion-again.  It seemed as if his whole career was crumbling before him.  But not really.  He will get to play on Sundays, somewhere.

I really don’t have too much else to say.

Kudos to Georgia, you have earned what will be a lofty end-of-year ranking.  You are great arguments for a playoff.

June Jones does not get to ride off on a white horse victorious, and move on as the unblemished hero.  He still has at least one offer to coach the SMU Ponies in the Dallas Metro area.  I suspect he will have to turn down a salary 2 1/2 times what he makes here, and spectacular facilities.  He’s competing with Mike Martz and a couple of others.

I say, don’t go, bro.  You will miss the beauty that is Manoa the moment you walk off the plane.  The wonderful fans, the adullation, everybody knowing who you are, the joy of really finishing a job that you started.  You’ve done some fantastic things in the communmity.  You’re half way there, and I would bet that sticking it out would net you over a hundred victories after three more years.

That would really look good, the people would accept your leaving a bit more.  I expect even the improvements to bring the football facilities into the modern age would be completed.

But how do you turn down that cash?
