Do you love your pharmacist?

I certainly take the many forwarded letters I get with a grain of salt.  Those who know me understand that having married a Dr. of Chiropractic, I am already suspicious of the onslaught of the billions of dollars of prescriptions that are handed out each year.

Then, of course, we march in, hand it to the Pharmacist, and ‘take it like a man’ with a grimace when we hear the cost.  Sometimes we have insurance coverage and sometimes we utter a weak “Is there a generic for that?”  In either case top dollars are being paid for little pills that have been cranked out in dizzying numbers at their plants.

I will save the alternative medicine side of things for another time.  And, for the record I AM a card-carrying member of Costco.

Costco – Unbelievable!

Make sure you read to the end. You will be amazed.
Let’s hear it for Costco! (This is just mind-boggling!)Make sure you read all the way past the list of the drugs. The woman that signed below is a Budget Analyst out of federal Washington , DC offices.

Did you ever wonder how much it costs a drug company for the active ingredient in prescription medications? Some people think it must cost a lot, since many drugs sell for more than $2.00 per tablet. We did a search of offshore chemical synthesizers that supply the active ingredients found in drugs approved by the FDA. As we have revealed in past issues of Life Extension a significant percentage of drugs sold in the United States contain active ingredients made in other countries. In our independent investigation of how much profit drug companies really make, we obtained the actual price of active ingredients used in some of the most popular drugs sold in America .

Since the cost of prescription drugs is so outrageous, I thought everyone should know about this.
It pays to shop around! This helps to solve the mystery as to why they can afford to put a Walgreen’s on every corner. On Monday night, Steve Wilson, an investigative reporter for Channel 7 News in Detroit , did a story on generic drug prices gouging by pharmacies. He found in his investigation that some of these generic drugs were marked up as much as 3,000% or more. So often we blame the drug companies for the high cost of drugs, and usually rightfully so. But in this case, the fault clearly lies with the pharmacies themselves. For example if you had to buy a prescription drug, and bought the name brand, you might pay $100 for 100 pills.
The pharmacist might tell you that if you get the generic equivalent, they would only cost $80, making you think you are saving $20. What the pharmacist is not telling you is that those 100 generic pills may have only cost him $10!

At the end of the report, one of the anchors asked Mr. Wilson whether or not there were any pharmacies that did not adhere to this practice, and he said that Costco consistently charged little over their cost for the generic drugs.

I went to the Costco site, where you can look up any drug, and get its online price. It says that the in-store prices are consistent with the online prices. I was appalled. Just to give you one example from my own experience I had to use the drug Compazine which helps prevent nausea in chemo patients.

I used the generic equivalent, which cost $54.99 for 60 pills at CVS. I checked the price at Costco, and I could have bought 100 pills for $19.89. For 145 of my pain pills, I paid $72.57. I could have got 150 at Costco for $28.08.

I would like to mention, that although Costco is a ‘membership’ type store, you do NOT have to be a member to buy prescriptions there as it is a federally regulated substance. You just tell them at the door that you wish to use the pharmacy, and they will let you in.

I am asking each of you to please help me by copying this letter, and passing it into your own e-mail, and send it to everyone you know with an e-mail address.

DON’T THINK. DON’T SPEAK. MOVE!

My short but sweet letter to a friend regarding Obama

He’s brilliant, and I resent the non-stop attacks he is getting.

I hate that he seems to be willing to take away freedoms and I have never been able to accept Pro Choice since coming out of the waters of baptism.

Health Care needs fixing and Corporate Greed permeates EVERY area of government and politics.  No one may have the strength to change that.  60 Minutes tonite talked about the Medicaid (or what it Medicare) inability to stop massive fraud.

McCain seems somewhat gracious as the loser but I can’t imagine him as president.  Palin is a nut and I really would be fearful with her having massive influence in the government.  She seems fully suited…to be a Reality Show actress, but may feel that is below her now.  Pity, she obviously needs the money.

There’s no one else to discuss.  Saying that he is/was the lesser of two evils is too strong, but he’s not the huge favorite with me or the rest of the country anymore.

I think it’s imperative that we, as hard-working citizens in control of our own destiny, take charge of our lives and build our businesses and happily pay our taxes.

I guess that’s it for now, gotta get back to work,   rick

God will hold everyone accountable and that includes you, me and Obama.

Just wondering what your thoughts are now that they have been in office for awhile and you can now see first hand the “change” that has been implemented in the country.  Would you vote for him again if you had the choice to do it over?  Just curious – I am not being factious.

Me again

I’m baaaaack!

I know I have been on a health product kick lately, but ya know I really enjoy being healthy.  I am not perfect of course, I really want to get back to the gym. I get it.

But here goes again.  I think in additon to being healthy physically, it is a must to pursue financial health.  Another stream of income MAY be what the Dr. ordered.  For anyone that does not know me, I am NOT a Doctor, I just play one on the internet.  I DId, however, marry a Chiropractor, and Dr. Malia has changed my life in more ways than one.

She and I are working on our own careers, she the Doc, and me the Yellow Pages Salesperson.  WE really like each of them and they have been bery bery good to us.

However, we are looking at retirement down the road and why now have the security that other streams of income provide?

Betwen us we can help you lower cholesterol, lower Blood Pressure, and blancde the hemispheres of the brain, which will also perhaps leads to some of the above.  Better sleep, lowering of aches and pains, ALL are possible and others have more dramatic testimonies.

You see, though, we do it because we are fans of better health, and the companies that we represent compensate us for sharing.

Becasue health and wealth are both important to us, we look to share the comcepts we have learned with others, and that means the products too.  They are very healthy, affordable (but not cheap) and in one case demonstratable.  I other words we show right now that the product will work for you and then it works.  A lot of people say, “How can I get this stuff?” as soon as the demo/test is done.

While I have you attention, Malia is a great teacher and Chiropractor, so meeting with her in person, often in an appointment, is very rewarding.  If you are on Oahu, I highly recommend.  Her # is 808 596-4853.

Finally, if curious about any of the above, get in touch with me as well.  Rick http://www.rickemmerich@gmail.com

PS In the near future I will share with you a way to build YOUR business, whatever it is.  I knwop it’s important and those of you who are networkers, in the treanches with another company, I am not so naiive  to expect to convert you to my biz, so let’s lighten up and share what works in biz-building.  If interested in what I do and what health products I will of course accomadate.

Hello Networkers

I hope you all are having a great day.  I realize many of you actually enjoy the hype-filled Type A frantic build-your-downline-in-one-month run-around.  Who cares about a product anyway?

I get it.  You’re the best.  Your Comp-Plan is the best.  You’re going straight to the top OR, in 3 weeks the NEXT Latest Greatest will catch your attention.  Like a SI swimsuit model walking past your house in her workclothes, you’ll follow that.  And there you go, off to the races, until the whole cycle repeats, and you tire of yet another mediocre product.

I know, it’s the newest best gimmicky pay plan that no one else has.  Well I happen to NOT be a pay plan specialist, but I prefer the newer hybrids when pressed.

But back on focus.  Wouldn’t it be refreshing to REALLY have a product that you can show and demo and avoid that 20 minute convincing call.  Or worse yet, the 40 minute ’show me yours and I’ll show you mine’ call.  (Please respect me enough to not do that to me, btw.)

   No Hype here.

If curious go to our generic site.  http://www.teamonewellness.com  Watch our demos.  BTW there are at least 5 other tests, but we believe in K.I.S.S. and duplication.  To see further, go to http://www.nutrazon.com/rickemmerich

No matter what, you  really need to be demo’d and have that sample.  That is the best way to find out that really, each and every time we show this product for the first time, the test/demo show that it works for everyone.  (No more taking a nutritional product on faith and waiting 30 to 90 days to see if it works or not.)

EVERYONE WE TEST SHOWS MEASURABLE IMPROVEMENT IN UP TO 4 AREAS.  Then that first ounce WORKS.

Balance, flexibility, meridian tests, cell phone emfs, strength tests all can be tested.   KISS, can you ytake one minute to be tested.  Nope, see ya.  Yes, do it and can you then duplicate that?  Are you trainable?  Hey, maybe thios is for you.

If you join us in one of the many ways to get started, you get a free back office, website and shopping cart.  There is no monthly cost.  It IS 35 bucks (cheaper than Costco) to be a member.  That renews each year for 20 bucks only.

FYI:  Releive stress*, sleep better*, relief some aches and pains*, balance, better, be more flexible, be stronger, recover quicker*, see better*, more mental clarity.*  These, in combinations are most mentioned as benefits.    * My benefits

Call me if necessary.  If in one of the 3 or 4 pockets of concentration in the whole US, I can get you a sample and demo quickly.  Especially beneficial for athletes and the elderly.  Our scientific demos and testing is ongoing every week here in Honolulu.     Rick Emmerich  oh yeah, it’s called Nutrazon
