I am not sure what YOU believe to be a pyramid scheme. One normal definition is a ponzi scheme, ala Bernie Madoff and companies that we see getting shut down by the government. There is no product or service really, and the money taken in by the ‘company’ or person is used to pay people that were ‘in before.’ This is clearly illegal and would apply to a recent company, called Zeek Rewards-shut down by the government and now in the courts. Many of us saw it coming and warned others, and boom, they were gone.
Lightyear Wireless is a 19 year, publicly traded company, with employees, in a large office building in Louisville that got into wireless 4 years ago. There is clearly a service here, Wireless, and we have about 90 thousand customers, which drives the business. This is very different from a pyramid scheme.
We get checks every week and the Lightyear Company sent me a form 1099. I did not send any, of course and I have no employees. I did NOT fill out ANY paperwork regarding Lightyear and those in my group. Lightyear (LY) did send the form 1099s to everyone that earned money as would any other long-term reputable business.
We are in the fastest growing group in LY, period. that is because of our Auto-Pilot Wealth System and I would love to tell you more about that. We have 3 GROUP Intro Calls a week and they are packed full of curious people. the LY company has 4 packed out Intro calls a week also, and they are good too.
I don’t have to ‘entice’ anyone into this company, If you, like me are a tour guide and bring the info to people and they check it out, I can see almost no reason why people that want to work, will NOT figure out that this is a timely and fantastic opportunity. Do you feel that you will have to convince anyone to use their cell phone? I doubt it.
In almost every other legitimate company there is a product and you DO have to convince or entice them to use the product. It may be a shake to lose weight a skin cream to help us all look 20 years younger or whatever. That type of deal is much harder to do, trust me. But they are still legitimate companies. It is just harder to make money at those. Yes, I have done a few of them..
So, those who take a long (or short) HONEST look at LY can’t truly end up going to one of those product companies. Not if they are in it to make money. If they just like that drink, pill, face cream, etc, well, cool. Go do THAT and let people who really want to make money in an exploding market reap the rewards here. Wireless will go from 195 Billion in 2011 to 240 Billion in 2012 to perhaps 300 (at least) in 2013 and perhaps 400 Billion in 2014. Next stop half a Trillion.
Meanwhile those product industries (and many are good or really good products, by the way) are growing by only 1%, 2%, 3% or less. That is called flat growth. Good luck with those, I will stay with wireless.
Those that don’t join us to make money can still get lower priced wireless with the same or better features or coverage and even they can earn it for free just by telling others and having them sign up.

PS. I am not a tax expert, but some have said that it IS wise to go with a LLC when it appears that the organization you are creating is making a lot of money. Many are available to offer that kind of advice. I hope that as you add people to your group you join us in helping get them to the calls and to help them find the info that is readily available in their back offices and on the many webinars and calls offered by our group and the company. Does that help?
