Well, who knows what’s around the corner for them. I sense that the window of opportunity is not going to be open that long and guys like Kruetz, Garza and other linemen may be gone in a year or two. When Erlacher went down for a whole year, ya wonder what else he will have in the tank.

Oddly enough, perhaps the Broncos are the model team here, with their strong line play and the ability to plug in different RBs over the last 10 years and now a less than stellar QB.

I’ve said it before, when they can get to a very good club in the trenches, the DBs and then the skill positions on Offense, THEN if they can add the Special Teams, perhaps and return to their glory.… Read More

Obviously they have a Very Good QB, and just as obviously, their Wideouts are not getting good separation.

I just remember how, a couple of years back they would struggle struggle through a game, and even fall way behind only to mount a furious comeback based on INTS, fumbles, good bounces and the famous Hester returns.

I think it’s next year or time to blow up the team, except at QB and some of the younger players. THe Orlando Pace bandaid attempt and the aging LBs may not make it to the next glory years.

That said, ya never know about this year. Beyond the Saints, Atlanta, Dallas?, Philly, the Vikings and those dreaded Cardinals, the Bears can compete with the rest.
